HISTORIC SMARTSVILLE CHURCH

FUND-RAISER

OPEN HOUSE &

LUNCH

SATURDAY OCTOBER 15

From  11:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Here is an opportunity to have a nice BBQ Tri-Tip sandwich lunch and to look around inside the historic, former Catholic church under restoration in Smartsville.

Bob and Sue Bittner, owners of It’ll-Do-BBQ at the intersection of Highway 20 and Mooney Flat Road have offered to do the cooking - authentic Santa Maria style - as a fund-raiser for SCRFI, our 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.

Tickets - $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under - can be purchased at the It’ll-Do-BBQ restaurant, (530) 432-6430, from any of the SCRFI board members, on-line at http://smartsvillechurchopenhouse.charityhappenings.org/, or “at the door” on October 15th.

Visit with friends, meet your neighbors, have a nice lunch, and see what the dedicated members of SCRFI have been doing to save this important historic structure as a benefit to the community of Smartsville.

Restoration workers will be available to answer questions.

Donations are tax deductible.

For more information contact Kit Burton (530) 743-0413 or kitburton@hotmail.com

There are many ways that you can support the Smartsville Church Restoration Fund.
You can volunteer to help with our fundraising events or make a donation of cash or materials needed for the restoration or purchase some of SCRFI 's unique memorabilia.

Speaking of unique...

Each year at pioneer day you have the opportunity bid to rent the painting of our grand building painted by Elizabeth Williams. The painting is available for a period of one year. Previously it has graced the dining room of Kathy and Paul Sedler and currently is being well cared for by Brad and Evelyn Allis.
